Rizpah Group is a multi-service organization with a specialty in working with individuals, families and communities. Our approach is to work from a systems perspective. It is effective as it takes into consideration every level of the systems that make up their lives when address concerns. The therapeutic work is with the individual, their children, love partner, school, work, and friendships. All these areas must be in synced and balanced for an individual to not only survive but thrive.
We specialize in working with women of color who are often seen by others as strong and with great strength. We approach to therapy and coaching sessions from a culturally relevant, trauma aware, systems, and solution-focused approach.
Women of color often are impacted by microaggression as they
pursue career goals and build professional credibility. Feeling
responsible for the happiness of others and the need to succeed can
lead to a sense of feeling overwhelmed and burnt out.
